Structure
TWU is supported
by a multicultural Board of A.C.O.R.D. The C.O.R.E. members are
responsible for administrating and guiding the scope of the
organization mission. The most enduring aspect of TWU’s critical
mass are Tewa women themselves. All are welcome to be a part of
making the vision for a healthy, safe and culturally enriched
self, family and community a reality.
TWU was
established in 1989. In September 2001, TWU received 501(c)3
status. TWU is an independent women centered and Native women
run non-profit organization located within the Northern Pueblos
of New Mexico.
